My Plan For This Christmas Day
Christmas is coming, but this year is going to be different from the past. For the last 20 years I had never been so anxiously looking forward to this holiday. Father Christmas, all those decorations and green Christmas trees seem extremely interesting to me this year. Things have changed because of my new boyfriend, a handsome Australian guy, Mike. It is going to be really exciting for we are going to travel abroad to celebrate this holiday.
It is amazing when you start changing just because of someone, just like he has great effect on you. Whatever you do and whatever you think is related with him. Anyway, this will be the first Christmas that we spend together. So we are making a very serious plan.
The bad thing for him is that he will not be able to go back home this Christmas, good for me, because I can have this unforgettable festival with him. He says he wants me to feel the atmosphere of Christmas, which I had never got the chance. So all these Christmas costumes, decorations, Christmas carols are absolutely necessary. Here is the detailed plan.
First of all, we will spend a week on a trip to Hangzhou, China. Neither of us had been to this eastern country before. As is know to all Chinese people, Suzhou and Hangzhou are considered to be the paradise on earth. We will visit some beautiful tourist attractions, and enjoy the winter on the bank of West Lake. I hope that day the weather will be good, but it’s also fine if it snows, because I am sure we will see a different kind of beauty if the West Lake is covered with white snow. And then it will be the carnie. I have always dreams of playing Ferris wheel and pirate ship with my prince charming. Now this dream came true, and more importantly in a land far away from my own country. Oh, yeah, I almost forget the local food. It is Mike’s favorite. He is always so interested in the food that wherever he goes.
Then, after coming back from China, we will have a real Christmas party, inviting all our friends. Mike is taking all the responsibility to plan this party. Everyone is supposed to put their gifts on the big Christmas tree. Some of Mike’s Australian friends will prepare the deserts and drinking for the party. And then there will be a ball. Just imagine all the dancing and singing. I am a hundred percent sure this will be an amazing party.
This is my Christmas plan. It might not be perfect but if both of us have fun, it is at least for us great. So wish me good luck!
